Overall it was great to get away, was relaxing, beautiful, and loved the beach and snorkeling. Still had good nights of entertainment like fire and aquatic shows along with music nights. Also saw lobster, starfish, and stingray. Lots of fish who are not even scared of people. Water super clear and can snorkel right from beach. The beach and snorkeling were great!!! Always had available chairs due to limited capacity at resort currently. Ocean restaurant was our favorite and the Italian restaurant at Sunscape next door. Nachos the second day were great but then every other time I ordered the cheese was so watered down it did not even resemble cheese sauce. By end of week we had pretty much eaten the items we liked from all the menus at both Secrets and Sunscape next door and were tired of the selection. We were given wrong schedule at check in and did not figure out until third day when we kept showing up to eat from our schedule and them being closed. I loved the Coco Cafe where I could get my double espresso latte every morning and they had good pastries too. We would always order breakfast in and eat on balcony. Also missed most of aquatic show having to move rooms. Had to pack by lights from phones which was no fun at all. By Thursday evening had no electric at all had to move rooms. Floors were slick tile and sweated terrible with condensation had to constantly wipe with towels to avoid falling. Started having electricity issues in room on Tuesday (3rd day). Had issues with having warm water for showers - rarely warm, mostly cool or downright cold showers. Had to use shelves in the wet bar area for some storage. Room was big and seemed fairly nice but there was no dresser just closet. The view was absolutely amazing and balcony awesome. Ocean View Junior Suite room on third floor. Walking through lobby on Tuesday they came up to us and said it had been resolved to which I replied yes I found out from my travel agent. However Monday the resort did not let us know it had been resolved or apologized in any way. Our travel agent assured us on Sunday we had paid in full and they would straighten out with resort which they did saying it was a miscommunication. I showed them all the emails from travel agent so they waived deposit, but it was super upsetting to wait until Monday to resolve. They wanted us to put a $600 deposit to stay the weekend until their reservation department opened on Monday. Here we just landed in a foreign country for a week and they are telling you no reservation even though you have a voucher from travel agent with booking number, confirmation number, and dates. Trip started off horribly with disaster at check in by them saying our reservation had been cancelled.
